🗿 What Is the Terracotta Army?
The Terracotta Army is a huge collection of life-sized clay statues of soldiers, horses and chariots. These statues were buried underground to protect the tomb of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.
Archaeologists believe there are over 8,000 soldiers in the Terracotta Army. Each statue was carefully made to look like a real soldier from Ancient China.
